Microsofts Web based newsgroup browser

For some reason, my IT folks at work are unable to get me connected to
msnews.microsoft.com via Outlook Express. Because of this, I have been
forced to use Microsofts web based newsgroup browser to post and read my
messages. However, when I search for my name, the order of the threads are
totally out of order. I would like them to appear in the inverse order
(newest on top) that they were created in.

Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Dale,

I've been watching your thread hoping for a solution because I'm in the same
boat as you. But, it's been a while with no response so I thought that I
would at least relay one thing that I find helpful.

I usually do a google search of the Access newsgroup for my name and sort by
date. I have the link saved as a favorite, so it is very easy. You may
already be doing this as well, but I thought I would pass it along in case
you hadn't tried it. For your name, you could use the link:

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...G=Search&meta=group=microsoft.public.access.*

This way at least I can see if there have been any new posts to any threads
that I have participated in. Of course, there is some delay time, so posts
in the last few hours or so won't show up in google. But, for me at least,
the microsoft browser search does put threads with posts on the current day
at the top, it's just the responses from the previous day or two that are
hard to find with it. So, the combination of the two usually works for me -
although it would be a lot more ideal if the Microsoft browser would allow us
to sort descending by date.

Still hoping someone will post a way to do that, or that MSN will make the
change in the near future.
