Microsoft XP Home RUNDLL Error

If possible please help. I am currently experiencing a problem when booting
up my computer. I recieve the following error message:

RUNDLL

error loading C:/WINDOWS/system32/NvCpl.dll
error performing inpage operation

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

nvcpl.dll is a library file for NVIDIA display adapter
Try booting into safe mode. Maybe it will help. Then uninstall the
graphics driver.

Boot normally and reinstall the nvidia drivers.
