Microsoft Word 2002 freezes when closing Dragon Naturally Speaking

Hello All,

When using Dragon Naturally Speaking in cooperation with MS Word 2002, and
when using the Transcribe feature in Dragon (working from digital
recordings), and when closing a correction boxin Dragon, MS Word totally
freezes and will not respond.

I have attempted to get Microsoft tech support to help, but they tell me it
is not their problem.

Please help.

And it's probably not. Did you try contacting the Dragon support? They'd be
the more logical people to help, as they'd have an idea what this
functionality is actually doing in the background that could interfere with
Word.
