Microsoft windows security center disabled

When I run spybot search and destroy lately I get an error message that reads
Microsoft.Windows SecurityCenter_disabled. I have checked the security
center and it says on. Does anyone have a fix?

Do you have third-party security software such as programs by McAfee or
Norton? If so, these programs have their own version of Security Center
and have disabled the Windows one by design.

If this is not your situation, please post back with the name/version of
your antivirus program.
