Microsoft Windows 2000 PRO does not boot on differnet controller/IDE or computer

Hi,


I insallled Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional on my
computer and when i remove that hard disk and fix on
anther computer with differnet controller/hardware .it
does not boot on another computer.

it give this error message when it attempt to boot on
other computer.I also installed SYSPREP 1.1 version for
widows 2000.

*** STOP: 0X0000007B (0XED41 B84C, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000,
0X00000000)
INACCESIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

If this is first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer, if this screen appears again,
follow these steps.

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly
installed hard drives or hard disk controllers. Check your
hard disk drive to make sure that it is properly
configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption and then
restart your computer.

Refer to your getting started manual for more information
or troubleshooting stop errors.



Please help and give suggestion.

Hi ,

Yes,I run the setup of SYSPREP 1.1 on the source machine
and it configure the hardware .after that i move that hard
disk to new machine,it does not boot and give the same
error which i post before.so how i can run again the setup
of sysprep on new machine.


how i can get rid of this problem.

What does the [SysprepMassStorage] section of your sysprep.inf look
like. Provided that the HALs are teh same as previously mentioned, you
probably need an entry for the mass storage controller that is present
in the target machine. You can run devcon.exe on it to determine the
PNP id string.
