I can agree with you Tom. Anything is possible.
What surprised me at first was that there was a time when MS forced you
to have a software when you didn't want it (Media Player is one) then it
stopped giving you all software even if you wanted it!.
Now they have changed again. God knows whether competition is hurting.
I understand Google is developing its own OS but they (Google) keeps
denying it.
I won't be surprised if first version of VISTA requires no activation as
the take up is likely to be very limited. MS will have to pay customers
to use VISTA!! Do you remember in the 90s when IE CD in circulation
outnumbered number of PCs in the entire world! You bought any magazines
and it came with IE CD. The idea was to destroy Netscape and they
succeeded! AOL is another such company which has more CDs in
circulation which nobody wants them!
