Microsoft shared toolkit installation

Hi all,

I would like to install Microsoft shared toolkit onto several windows XP Pro
workstations that will eventually be connected to a domain. I have downloaded
the shared toolkit from the Micosoft website onto a USB stick. Unfortunately
I am unable to install the software without direct access to the internet as
it is trying to authticate the operating system.

The operating system is fully licensed and has previously been registerd
with the Microsoft clearing house.

Is internet access a requirement, or is there an alternative?

Can anyone please advise, many thanks.

Nope, that's the way it works. Did you also download the User Profile Hive
Cleanup Service installer as it is required to be installed before the
toolkit and also requires authentication.

Thanks for the response.
Yes, I did install the profile hive but did not register it.
