It seems, that we're not the only ones who are missing this update on the SUS server for IE 5.5.
IE 5.01 and IE6 and the version for W2K3 Server is available, but not for 5.5.

Any Ideas?

Since this IE5.5 release is only for WinME, you won't see it on the SUS
Server - or in the MSSECURE.XML file.

Are you sure? I got updates fro IE 5.5 til June 04. And for the older
version 5.01 the update MS04-025 is also available via SUS. That looks
strange to me.

Hi

Microsoft has been "nice" to support IE 5.5 on all platforms up to
now, based on their life cycle plan, I think their official support
ended 2003-12-31 (but not for WinME, because WinME was released with
IE 5.5).

The reason you see the IE 5.01 update, is because IE 5.01 was the
IE version Windows 2000 was released with, so IE 5.01 on Windows
2000 will be supported as long as Windows 2000 is supported.
