Microsoft Not out of workers

http://www.cnn.com/2006/TECH/biztech/11/08/microsoft.talent.reut/index.html

It’s Microsoft’s fault. Why go to work for Microsoft when they pay you $5
less than a general contractor? You went to school with your student loan
to pay off; a general contractor went to a 6-month job shop can beat your
earning at Microsoft.

What Bill needs to do to get more workers is:

1.) Increase the pay (other software companies paid twice Microsoft paid)

2.) Eliminate the agencies

3.) He got to cut the 9-month working limit. (He screw contract workers
thru agencies in the past, some workers didn’t get paid even after the law
suit, lawyers got rich, so people got mad and stopped going to Microsoft.
Some quitted working in Software and went to work for Casino.)

4.) Bill, stop trying to train Russian to speak English. That's long road,
language is not easy.

5.) Stop being a traitor, you already gave too much works to eastern Indians
and Chinese inside and outside. You should be ashamed, don’t try to show
off that you are a kind man; you can’t do good and evil at the same time.

Umm, what exactly is Bill Gates accused of being a traitor to?

His country? If he should be loyal to his country, why shouldn't he be
loyal to his State? Is he a traitor when he hires people from
California?

No-no-no. The OP wrote "...inside and outside...".

Why on Earth BillG is a traitor due to hiring Chinese and Indians _inside_? the
US citizens of Chinese and Indian origin?

Maybe the OP just goes on spreading ethnical hatred? Then should we respond to
him (a rhetorical question)?

He just hates immigrants - check his profile, and you will see what
he is all about....
Then should we respond to him

Unless you enjoy discussions with idiots, it just does not make sense
to do so.
In fact, such "discussion" could be just entertaining if you have some
sense of humour and nothing else to do at the moment (I bet he is
going to react quite emotionally), but it is better to use some other
NG for this purpose......

The hard truth is, in american schools, math (and science in general)
education is ridiculous.
American don't won't to be engineers. So America has to import those.

I think America has produced the greatest amount of highly competent
engineers, either domestic or imported. Europe had produced the greatest
scientists and mathematicians, the one I admire the most James C. Maxwell.

America is great in a sense it gives opportunity to those motivated and
educated. Some countries give better education, but don't give neither
opportunity nor motivation. Such was Soviet Union, and soon Russia will
become such back again (though I'm not sure about better education now).

Some countries give better education

In fact, formal education in itself is just of no importance -
everything depends on how much you want to know things. If you have any
interest in learning, you will make an effort to obtain all info that
you need, and if you have no interest whatsoever, no one is able to
help you - even if you are forced to learn things, you are going to
forget them pretty shortly...
America is great in a sense it gives opportunity to those motivated....

This is just a myth......

People in US achieve much more than anywhere else only because they are
more motivated than people in other parts of the world (this is just
the essential part of their culture), and motivated people tend to
achieve what they want, despite everything that stands in their way.

In fact, in most cases when you hear "I had no chance", you can take it
just as "I did not make any effort". Just to give you an idea - for
example, American students mostly dream of opening their own business,
but French ones dream about being employed by the government or at
least by some large corporation, so that they are guaranteed to work
9am to 6 pm 5 times a week for the fixed salary and with very little
chance of losing their job. What can they achieve with such
motivation???? Therefore, when someone like that tells me that in the
US he would have had a better chance to achieve things, it just makes
me laugh.....

The bottom line - everything depends on you and on your general
attitudes to things, rather than on some external circumstances......
