microsoft regclean

I have installed Microsoft regclean, on my pc running XP home edition. Does
it work? The undo file created by regclean contains details of a number of
entries modified or deleted. But each time I run Regclean I seem to get a
similar response.

Microsoft RegClean is not fully compatible with Windows XP.
I suggest you remove it and use a product that is Windows XP
compatible, such as System Mechanic (www.iolo.com).

I found a few sites to download MS Regclean from, and none of them claimed
compatability with Win XP.. doesn't anybody read anymore, or is it that the
level of comprehension is just so apallingly low?..

Why do you think Microsoft RegClean is no longer available
directly from any Microsoft website? Sure, you can download
it from other websites, but you are on your own if you corrupt
XPs registry while using it. One example:

The last time that I used MS RegClean was with Win 98.. I was one of the few
that understood what incompatibility with Win ME and XP actually means, it
seems..
