Microsoft Outlook XP

When I exit Outlook I get a message saying "Microsoft Oulook has encounterd a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have checked the Knowledge Base and it refers to a problem with McAfee
software, which I am not running. I have Norton Internet Security.
What could be causing this to happen all of a sudden
