Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage

Somehow I lost the abilty to use my excel program. When I try to open a
spreadsheat I get a pop up window w/ Microsoft Office XP Professional with
FrontPage trying to install. Then it tells me to use the cd rom and use the
windows cd to install the program. I don't know why all of a sudden this is
happening nor do I have the cd to re-install the program. Is there a way to
do this w/out the cd?

I don't know why FP would attempt to install when opening a spreadsheet, but
you could try conducting a Detect and Repair to see if it works out the issue.
In Excel on the Menu bar click Help > Detect and Repair. If the install files
are not on the PC you will need the install CD. If that fails to solve the
issue you need to ask this question in an Excel or Office ng.

microsoft.public.excel
microsoft.public.excel.misc
microsoft.public.excel.newusers
microsoft.public.office.misc

If you have a problem with your Office installation and you dont have the
office cd, you wont be able to repair it

I actually figured out what you meant. I went to the website, downloaded the
file and it worked one time. I closed out of it then I tried it again and now
I can't review my spreadsheets again due to the same issue I had before.
