Can any one, please, help me to backup my pst file dividing it with the same
structure of folders with the messages of each year?
Thank you

Your pst file contains ALL your Outlook data - so if you have created
folders within Outlook to contain messages by year, then these will be
included automatically. Just close Outlook and make a copy of your pst file.
It's as easy as that.

If that is NOT what you have done then you need to be more explicit.

Ok. Thank you for your answer.
I have all my messages in a one pst file since 2000. It is too big. I am
trying to dividing it in several files, one each year. I tried to make
several arquive files by date ( 31st December each year) but I all obtain the
structure of my folders, it does not copy the messages.
Can you help me, please.

Autoarchive works on the Modified Date field. If all your messages have the
same Modified Date then if the archive parameters are before that date then
nothing gets archived. Have you imported your pst file to a new instance of
Outlook by any chance?

1. My pst file is the same one since I use the several Microsoft Office
pack's. Now is 2007.
2. I do not autoarchive. I select File, Archive and select the folders I
want archive to a new File, for instance, File2000.
3. I supposed the selection was made by message date in the previous step.
4. New instance? You confuse me! I don't understand.

Thank you.

Create a new PST with File>New>Outlook Data File. Create in that PST new
folders for the years with FIle>New>Folder. Select all the messages from a
certain year and click Edit>Move to Folder, specifying that year's folder on
the extra PST.
