Microsoft Office 2002 - Arrange by - Can't find it

Hi everyone. My sister has Microsoft Office 2002 and has a problem that I
can figure out. When she looks at her inbox, it has her e-mails sorted by
FROM. She needs to change it so it is sorted by DATE, but she doesn't have
an "ARRANGE BY" option in her view pull down menu.

How does she change her inbox to arrange by date received.

Hello Lynda,

In outlook you to be in Inbox folder any of the personal folders to view the
arrange - by option under view.

However , please try this step too.

View>toolsbars>customize>Rearrange commands>In menu bar options - select "view">change the settings as you like it.

Hope this will resolve the issue.

She doesn't have the option that says rearrange commands. Like I said, she
has version 2002. So, that isn't helping, any other ideas?

Arrange By is an Outlook 2003 feature. It doesn't exist in Outlook 2002. If she wants to sort by date, she can click on any date column in the view to sort by that field. Or use the Customize View command and use the Sort feature.
