[microsoft][odbc visual foxpro driver]function sequence error (#0)

Hi All,

I am trying to connect to a free table Foxpro 2.6 table from access
2003 using ODBC, Visual Forpro Driver 6.01.8629.01 and I get the above
error. If I open a database with the table already attached I can open
the table and insert, delete, ammend etc. It is only when I try to
attach a new table that I get the error. I can also logout as myself
and log back in as administrator and use the ODBC connection to connect
to the table. When I log back in as myself I can open the newly
attached table but cannot attach another one. I have reinstalled office
2003, applied SP2 reinstalled MDAC reinstalled VFODBC driver. I have
even reinstalled Windows XP. I have seen this article on the web a few
times but none of them have a resolution. Any help would be
appreciated,

Regards

Hi Cindy,

One for the scrapbook !! I followed the link for Environmental
Variables for the Temp folder but it didn't have the system attribute
on it. I did however notice that it was hidden so I removed that and it
worked. The environmental variable was set to

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp

which would explain why it worked when I logged in as administrator and
not as my domain account. Thanks for the help, it was getting a bit
annoying having to log out and in to attach a simple table !!
