microsoft internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close

I have done all the problem solving i can find on this
topic. I still get this error message when I use my
browser. The addresses that I have in my link browser open
just fine, it's the addresses I type into the regular
browser that produce the error message.
app name is iexplore
app version is 6.0.2800.1106
mod name is msvcrt.dll
and the mod version is 6.1.8293.0
does anyone have any ideas/solutions, anything would be
helpful

Did you ever figure out a solution to the Ie. problem? ( other than the trash) I have the same thing going on and it sucks
