Microsoft Bluetooth Dongle

Luke

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could be of any help:

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse which came with a
Bluetooth Dongle. Now that all works fine. However, I
also own a Siemens S55, and this phone supports
Bluetooth.

So in theory, I should be able to communicate via the
phones software on the PC with the phone via Bluetooth.
However, the software says that the Bluetooth Dongle must
support/install a virtual com port, called RF-COM, for
the software to connect to the phone.

So my question is, how do I go about setting up this
virtual com port?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice :)

Hello,
Glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I have a Nokia 3650 and
I purchased the Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse combo as well... thinking that
going MS would be the best choice... now I'm sort of stuck with no way to
connect to the Nokia software. (or being forced to purchase some new
bluetooth software)

Anyone that has any solutions, please pass it along.

Thanks Pete, it was really nice of you to reply, even if
it was bad news :)

Oh well, looks like I'll have to stick to using the
serial data cable :)

Thanks again, much appreciated,
