Microsoft AntoSpyware not finding *anything*

Hello :)

I have Microsoft AntiSpyware Version 1.0.615 which expires on: 12/31/2005
and presently has Spyware Definition Version: 5771 (11/5/2005 11:26:39 AM)

The problem is that in doing my usual weekly scans, it hasn't been finding
anything for some time now while other similar programs like Spybot and
Lavasoft AdAware nearly always do, even when run after Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Is there something wrong?

If replying by e-mail, please reply to Rufinoform at aol dot com Thanx! :)

Hi Cloudchaser;
Nothing is wrong at all, in fact you're doing everything right. Running
multiple AS applications is highly recommended. If AdAware and Spybot are
detecting cookies/dataminers that's part of their behavior. MSAS does not
detect these in it's current configuration as Beta1, that could change when
Beta2 is released as Windows® Defender. If on the otherhand they're detecting
real spyware/adware/monitoring keyloggers on your system, you should let us and
SpyNet know via a Suspected Spyware Report.

Two other things I should mention... looks like your 2 signature definitions
behind, so you should run a File > Check for updates. Then in Options set
Autoupdater to check for updates daily at a time when your resonably sure to be
logged on to the internet. They tend to get refreshed on Thursday, but not
necessarily. Use caution if running Spybot Tea Timer together with Real Time
Protection in MSAS you could experience conflicts... but again not necessarily.
