after intalling and running the microsoft beta antispyware, my kazaa program
is being blocked from connecting to the intrenet, how can i
1) prevent this from happening when i re install the program, is being
blocked from the program, or removed from the registry on a scan?

2.) how can tell the program to allow it to run?

I have unistalled the microsoft antispyware beta 1.0.615, for now, but want
to know what do before reinstalling it.

thanks.

I`m not surprised - its classified as a back door virus!

Description:
kazza.exe is a virus, possibly of the OPTIXPRO.12.C. /
Backdoor.OptixPro.12.c type. This virus allows unauthorised access on the
computer and stops Internet security packages from functioning. This program
is a registered security risk and should be removed immediately. Please see
additional details regarding this process

Not surprising MSAS is doing its darnest to prevent it. Most web sites I`ve
visited providing its content is definately RED MARKED.

Having said its a virus . I`m somewhat surprised MSAS has identified it -
unless it crosses those boundaries which haven`t universally been identified
as a virus from spyware/malware/trojans etc. Which brings me to the question:

When is a virus NOT a Virus but Spyware?
Is Malware Spyware or a Virus? Even more importantly:
Are Malware/Trojans regarded as Spyware or a Virus?

From my observations. Trojans seems to fall either side of the fence. What
about the rest?

Your comments please gentlemen.

Good question. There are technical details outlining each, but I generalize
them. If it's something you neither wanted nor asked for, then it doesn't
belong there and should get whacked to the moon.
