I installed this OK, and so did a friend of mine. When I
view certain settings (System Explorers in Advanced, or
real time scan seetings) his looks like there are a
number of things he can enable and disable, Mine show
nothing. It apears I can do a manual scan, but I am not
sure how much it is scanning in realtime. Do I need to
register the software or something. (I did do the
windows verification prior to install).

This is a wellknown bug often seen with users running any Symantec
product.

Try this.

1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware
