Microsoft anti-spyware Not Updating

For some reason my definitions are not updating. I click'file' UPDATE, and it
tells me "Warning, could not connect to Internet". I've got this message for
several days now. My 'machine is connected to the Internet when I get this
message. is there any other way to get the Spyware upadates?

Is your Internet Explorer or Outlook Express set to work off-line or on-line?

Please check in the File menu of Internet Exporer or Outlook Express - the
"Work off-line" option should nºt be checked.

Do you have a software or hardware firewall that controls outbound
connections?
