Microsoft Access Issue

I'm creating a form in Access and I have a drop down box with a few name and another blank field. I want that when I select a name from the drop down box, it will show something else in the blank field that I have. I've tried to make a table with two colunms, one with the info I want to show in the drop down box and in the other colunm the info I want to show in the blank field but when I select a name in the drop down box it will not show the other name in the blank field. HELP NEEDED!!!
