messenger POP UPS

how do you get rid of messenger pop ups...my family is
sick to death of it and we do not wish to buy www.stop
pop ups or www.fightmessenger.com or www.desert
messenger.com......they are so crafty as any attempt to e-
mail them is refused (another just popped up..blasted
thing)....we are now regretting having purchased a pc and
will certainly try to deter any future people thinking of
going down this miserable road of NON
ENTERTAINMENT.....HOW DO WE GET RID OF POP UPS...WITHOUT
THE BRIBE OF MONEY to these charlatons......reply please
and sort it out as soon as possible..we spent good money
on this pc for family enjoyment...where is it!!! it
should be advertised as POP UP LAND.

I have read countless inquires to this list about "how do
I get rid of messenger and stop popups?" I have yet to
see anyone post a solution. does anyone know where a
solution can be found? Has one ever been posted? If
not, could someone please post it?
