I have tried removing Windows Messenger using Dougnox's removal tool
then re-downloading messenger from the Windows.Update site but it
still wont work and keep getting this message. I have also tried
upgrading to MSN Messenger v6.1 which works for a while but then
crashes with the same error.

Also tried using the system restore, but this tells me it cannot
restore my computer to a earlier time and to try another restore
point, which I have done but get the same message telling me it can't
restore to that time either.

Can someone help!
