messages stuck in my outbox

Hello everyone,

I seem to all of a sudden be unable to send e-mail properly in windows
mail. If I send an e-mail to myself for example it stays in my outbox.
I also have a message that was sent I think from within adobe
photoshop elements 5, which again is residing in my outbox and with
this file, if I try to delete it or move it I recieve an "unknown
error" dialogue box. I cannot do anything with this e-mail. It's
Stuck!

I spoke to my ISP and they said it may be a problem with mcafee and to
disable the e-mail scanner. This has not resolved the issue and in any
case, I would prefer to keep my security levels as they were and as
mcafee recommend (with e-mail scanned both ways).

Does anyone know how I can sort this out? I ought to be able to e-mail
to myself, I have this file in my outbox that will not move, and this
has only recently occurred!

Any help will be gratefuly recieved - alanbriggs

Repost to the vista mail newsgroup below, many have this issue and the only way to fix this is to delete your user data and then rebuild it. Go and post to that group and just read the many issues that is involved with this.
