Messages Stuck in Endless Send Cycle

For nearly a week 2 messages I sent from my Comcast mail account using
Outlook 2003 Professional have been stuck in the Outbox, and the people I
sent them to have been receiving them repeatedly. It also slows down mailing
other messages, though they usually go out if I close and reopen Outlook.
When I try to delete the 2 offending email, the message says they have either
been moved or I have been denied access. I am the administrator and have not
denied myself access!

One of the victims, my sister-in-lawm who also has Comcast, said she had to
do a system restore when that happened to her. Is there any simpler way to
deal with this?

HELP!!!!!

Does anyone have

Try clicking Work Offline from the File menu and see if you can delete the
messages then. If not, keep Work Offline checked, log out of Outlook and
then log back in...it should still be in Offline mode. Try again to delete
the messages.
