Message "You are now viewing this message in the internet zone"

Whenever I open an email in outlook, I get the message "You are now viewing
this message in the internet zone". What does this mean to me? Is it
something I can change if I so desire? It's not causing a problem, I'm just
curious.

The zone can be chosen at Tools>Options>Security.

There are only two choices there....."internet" & "restricted sites".

Is this message just telling me what zone has been chosen in the security
settings? Can I add more zones? Should I even care about this message?

Thanks

Jerry

should I just not pay attention to this message?

Normally, Outlook reads messages in the Restricted Zone so that unusual
object in the message don't get run automatically. Outlook is telling you
that the setting is unusual. Were I in your shoes, I'd change it back to
"Restricted".
