When I click on create mail, the box that I get only gives space for To: Cc:
Subject: and not the space for the message. I used to get a whole box. I
don't know what I did to make it disappear. I know I can increase the box to
a whole page by clicking to the left of the X in the upper right corner but I
want to have the box back that I always had before. Can anyone please help?

Drag the corner - don't use the "maximise" button...
