Message body blank

Hi

this seems completely random but, I’ll receive an email with the
headers/subject
line intact but with the body completely blank?

I did a test with two computers, one with Eudora mail client installed and
the other with Outlook 2007, the Eudora receives the message fine but
Outlooks body is blank?
I’m not using AVG antivirus, both machines are using Kaspersky antivirus.

Do you have Kaspersky configured to scan incoming mail? If so, disable that
feature.

So? What does Eudora's behavior have to do with it? That's like saying "I
can't edit a file in Word, but my flight simulator works fine." They're
simply not related.

The most common cause of your symptom is installing antivirus email
integration. That's a fact. Do with it what you wish.

Of course I know what Eudora is. The point I'm trying to make is that your
scanner integrating correctly with Eudora has no bearing on it integrating
correctly with Outlook. Do what I say and remove the integration with
Outlook. See if it makes a difference. The whole idea with troubleshooting
is that you want to minimize the variables and the outside influences.

We have experienced the same thing. A message is received in Outlook, from the preview pane I can see the text of the body of the message, when you open the message, the text of the body does not display. If I open Thunderbird and open the same message I can see all the text of the message. This appears to happen when the sender is using a different mail client, like Thunderbird or a webmail. It is also very random, the same person can send another message from the same mail client and Outlook opens it and displays the text fine.
In a message thread, several messages display fine, and one in the middle will be blank when viewed in Outlook. Again same message opened in Thunderbird displays fine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tried the solution mentioned in the post already? Disable/uninstall your
virus scanners installation with Outlook and try again. You'd still be
sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus scanner.
