Merging into a Word doc with VB functions

Hi
I basically have a Word doc that has some VB functions with in it.
All it really does is add specific text into the doc when you tick certain
tick boxes, nothing too difficult.

My intention is to use our DB to merge information into this document then
tick certain boxes to add the specific text, and print.

However, when i use this document to merge information from our DB the tick
boxes do not work.

Is there anything i can do to enable this

Doug Robbins - Word MVP

The checkboxes will only work if the document is Protected for Filling in
Forms. Therefore, after executing the merge, it will be necessary to
protect the document that is produced.
