Merge multiple records to one printed sheet

I am merging some Excel data to a Word file to be printed out. It
happens that the paper size I need is *very* non-standard and quite
small. I could actually fill four small cards on one standard letter
size sheets. The fields I am exporting, for example, are: name, time,
date, category, race_type.

My question is this...Is it possible to setup a merge that would allow
me to merge 4 separate records to one sheet of printed paper?

Print the records in Word as Labels with 4 to a page.

Use Word's Tools>Letters and Mailings>Envelopes and Labels

Assuming you are using Word for the mailmerge and Excel for the source see these
