Merge calendars

I have multiple training courses scheduled in various training facilities
througout the company. I already use group schedules to determine available
times for my training staff and training resources (i.e. rooms, projectors,
etc.). Is there a way to consolidate specific calendars into one, main
calendar for public viewing?

I want to publish this "consolidated" calendar to our Intranet, so group
schedules will not work, as there is no "Save As" option.

I am using MS Outlook 2002 and Exchange Server.

Thank you.

A no -addins approach is as follows:

make a Public Folder called Training Calendar (it needs to be a Calendar)

you can populate this Calendar with the events that everyone needs to see

If I were to put my training on it, I would Right Mouse drag from my
Calendar to this one and upon release select Copy. Then my event would be
on my Calendar (where it drives the free/busy information) and on the more
static Public Folder Calendar)

This Calendar can be fine tuned by editing the Label colours to show which
room or which trainer (for example).

Most of my clients and government departments and they rarely use add-ins so
we try creative methods. It's not perfect, as it is a manual approach, but
it works.

I think the problem comes when you run out of label colors (10) and need something more robust to, for example, put people's names in the subject or location field. Or, when you want to show more items in a single day than the Outlook calendar can do.

I created the Public Folder calendar and saved it as a webpage to attach to
our LMS, which is available on our Intranet. All seems to be going well,
but, you are right, it is a manual approach to the issue.

I copied the calendar with the most events scheduled and then took the other
training rooms and manually entered the existing events into the new public
folder calendar. However, I remember reading somewhere that it might be
possible to "invite" the public calendar when creating a new entry into
another calendar... If memory serves, the verbiage was something like "its
not easy to find, but the public folder will have an email address created
which can be used to add to the 'attendees' of a meeting."

If this is so, I would be able to automate the addition of newly scheduled
trainings by simply adding the public calendar to the invitees. Any thoughts?
