memory access violation in module kernel32

I am getting this message when first bringing the
computer up. memory access violation in module kernel32
at 5162:11523322. I can x it off and does not seem to
cause any other problems

I am receiving this same message. I kept closing the
window and now I cannot access any of my shortcut icons
on the desktop. I get the message "The item you selected
is unavailable. It might have been moved, renamed or
removed. Do you want to remove it from the list?" I don't
know what to do.
