Member Server in DMZ

O

Olaf Coolic

Hi NG,

How do I tell a Member Server in DMZ, where its Domain Controller in
internal network is located.
They are in different subnets.
Do I have to enter somewhere in Memberserver-Registry the IP Address of its
Domain Controller?
Or in the LMHosts File ???

Thanks
Olaf

Hi Olaf,

There is no special configuration required on the member server.

The member server will be able to find the DC via the DNS Server it is
pointing to.
As long as the necessary ports are allowed between the member server in the
DMZ
and the DC in the internal network, that should be OK.
