I have downloaded service pack 2 and now Windows media player has taken a
new look. I not as happy with the new look, but I can manage to do the music
as well as before. But, now I can not burn CD. When I click the Burn CD
button, the screen flashes but nothing happens. and it does not burn a cd

Do you have CD burning software installed, if yes, did you check the
application website for updates? If no, try this, open Windows Explorer,
select your burner drive, right click, select properties, go to the
recording tab, be sure "Enable CD recording on this drive" is selected. If
it is, deselect it, click apply then select it and click apply and see if
that resolves the issue.

If not, please take this question to the
microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer newsgroup.
