Hi all,
I almost have all the kinks worked-out of my Vista system at home now
except for this oddity. I was trying to play a WMV file from a website
yesterday and noticed that the video is all garbled; it looks like a
smear of green, blue, and red pixellated squares. The audio works
fine, however, as do all other formats of video.
Windows Vista Ultimate
3GB RAM
AMD 2800+
Asus K8N motherboard (nForce3 250)
GeForce 7800GS OC AGP
In order to get games to work on the nForce3 chipset, I had to extract
and install the GART driver from the Nvidia nForce 5.11 XP driver
package. I've also installed the Cole2k Media Codec Pack (http://
www.cole2k.net/) and the latest Nvidia Vista drivers for my video
card.
Ideas?
