media player 9

i have the latest version of media player 9 and it will
not detect either of my burners
1- sony dvd-rw burner-dru530a
2 liteon-ltr cd-rw 401255
is there anything i have to do to correct this

Windows?

yes both burners are working properly according to
devices manager and also have had no problems using the
for copying data with nero/my dvd(nero now off my comp)
as far as i can see i have got them both in win:media
player set correctly,both on digital playback/record, not
set for error correction
anything else?
