Hi folks,

Quick question... the subject software is default on x64 Win XP.
Unfortunately on my system it does not work at all. This may or may not be
caused by codex package that I installed? Anyway MP10 will not even play
WMV files now let alone AVI or MPG. Does anyone know if there is a way to
fix this problem without having to format and re-install XP64. This method
of repair is the only one I have read about to date.

Sometimes, you can go into the INF folder within the WINDOWS folder, and
commence a reinstall from there. Look for something that looks like
mplayer.inf, right-click it, and then install. Don't know if it will
work. I've fixed Internet Explorer that way before though.
