Media centre sound

I have a brand new Dell Dimension 9200 2.4GHZ| dual core intel processor, 4GB
RAM. Came with TV card and vista preloaded. Was initially very impressed
with the digital TV it was showing but now all of a sudden there is no sound
from the TV. The picture is fine, other sounds such as Windows alerts etc
are fine. Any ideas why this has happened and how I can rectify it?

Dell Support about as useful as a chocolate teapot. They say this is not a
hardware issue so it is not covered under technical support.....

If your Dell computer came with Windows Vista preinstalled,
then Dell is also 100% responsible for supporting their installed
edition of Windows Vista.
