Media center for Xbox 360 dsl?

Do i have to have Windows Media Center to connect the Ethernet from my
computer and router to Xbox 360?

No. Xbox can act as an 'extender' for Media Center, but that has nothing to
do with Xbox using a shared Internet connection, or being a member of the
local workgroup via a router.

Thank You, do i have to have PPPoE settings, i don't know any password, and
would really like it if i din't have to call My ISP.

Your DSL provider should supply you with all the ID/password info you need
to use their service. No one else could do that.
