meaning of .CDB files and how to convert to .mdb format

I believe a cdb file is from a card scan database.

The way to convert to a ms-access file would be to run the card scan
software..and do a "export" to a comma delimited file...and ms-access can
then import that file.

As you can see from the other replies, you can never be sure based solely on
the file extension, as there may be several applications saving files with
the same extension. But CDB is the extension used by so-called 'Pocket
Access' on the Pocket PC, and the ActiveSync program can convert them to
Access .MDB files when transferring them from the Pocket PC to the desktop.
You can download ActiveSync from a link at Microsoft's Windows Mobile page
