MDE File

I am quite new to Access and would like to know if it's possible to
de/un-compile and Access database from an MDE file back to the MDB file,
since I want to make changes to the code and then recompile it. The MDB
file has been deleted by someone and I only have a copy of the MDE (compiled)
version.

No, there is not.

There has been some reports of companies that will un-do this for you, but
there is not readily available tool that I know of...
