Maxtor Backup question

Richard

First I apologize if this is a dumb question. I am a relative novice. I
went to the local Office Depot to buy a one-touch back-up my 100GB
drive, which they did not have. The sales assistant recommended the
200GB Maxtor Basics Personal Storage 3200, which was on sale. But this
is not designed for daily daily back-up, is it?

What is the difference between this and the Maxtor OneTouch II and III
products?
Thanks greatly in advance for your advice!

That's hardly a dumb question. What's dumb (IMNSHO)is to rely on an
office store clerk for technical advice. Instead, go to Maxtor's website.

Well you really need to look and compare the specs...
It is possible that the 200 GB drive has same one-touch button and
backup software, but (for example) it is too large and heavy for you
to carry around. Or maybe on the contrary it has other features you want to have...
