max-min window size

B

Bob G.

I am new with winxp and all my windows open in maximized
view. I have checked the option to remember each folder
setting and have each folder open in it's own window.
However, it seems not all of my folders are remembering
and when opened again they revert to the maximum screen
size. What am I doing wrong?
Thank You..Bob

as with ie, win explorer (we) behaves the same way:

close all instances of we exept one.
resize we to your preferred size and location.
press control and click on the x button to close that instance if we.
the next time you open we, it should use the size and location of the last
one you just closed.

hope this helps.
