Mass E-Mails

Our company sends out apx. 800 e-mails each week to the same customers using
Access messaging. We are getting reports that some of our e-mails are not
being received (Yahoo, Strato, etc) but when we send them one directly from
Outlook it works okay.
I have checked the messaging hold table and the e-mails are there.

I doubt that it's the Access app that's the problem. Are you sending
individual emails to each adressee or one email with multiple addressees?

My home ISP, Charter, will only allow me to send out to 50 email addressees
per hour then they start blocking them. That can be 50 individual emails; one
email with 50 addressees; or some combination of the two. This is to prevent
spam (or to make me upgrade to a commercial account). I have one email list
of around 200 addresses. To get around this limitation, I have access send
out an email every 90 seconds. Of course it takes a few hours.

On the other side, some ISPs start blocking emails if they get too many from
the same place. Yahoo seems to be one as the Yahoo addresses start getting
blocked when I send out emails as detailed above. However if I gather up all
the Yahoo email addresses in my list and put them all in one email the next
day, the email works.

Thanks Jerry. We are sending one email to multiple addresses from Access
through Outlook from "(e-mail address removed)". I will check with our ISP. I will
try to send in packets of 50 like you suggested.

Thanks again.
