mass drop of carriage returns

Hello all....

Find myself with a 10-page document that I has a lot of spaces between
numbered points and indented letter points in a kind of outline format.
Because I'm going to need to take and paste this info into another more
condensed document, I find myself with the need to try and remove all the
carriage returns in my original document.

Is there a way to do this in a mass way so that I won't have to hunt and
peck through it manually?

Thanks if someone knows!

A wildcard search for
(^13){1,}
replace with
\1
will remove any number of excess empty paragraphs.

Replace all the hard returns with a space. Click on the More button
in the Replace dialog box and then Special. Select the Paragraph Mark and in
the replace with type a space. Then Replace All. Hope this solves
your problem

Thanks for the thought. I use this similar method for lots of stuff all the
time. In the format of this doc it didn't work. In this case, the
suggestion just above by Ann Scharpf did. Again, thanks for your input!

Thanks for the input. In my instance the ^13 option was close
to the point. The addition/refinement to this noted above by
Ann Scharpf rocked and worked perfectly in this case.

Again, thanks.
