Mapped drives

I can not get XP Pro to map drives from a login script. These are on a
Win2k Active Directory network. My Win2k pro machines map them just fine
and execute the script just the same. I have tried to run a policy that
makes WinXP wait for logon scrpits to execute before login. But the
machines just infinatly wait. I have to have users exe the bat file on
there desktops and they map just fine. They just dont work at intial login.

Any advance or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

sounds like DNS settings. Are you using internal dns? make sure xp points to
the internal dns.

I do have internal DNS and yes the XP machines use the internal DNS server
as primary.

Any other thoughts?

I got it... apparently I HAVE to make it sync in the domain policy...
which I have tried a few times only to be glaring at a blank desktop cause
the OS waits for the logon scripts to run, which never ran! :) So, I
deleted the Domain Policies and created all new ones and re-instated the
"wait for logon scripts to execute" and voila... it works. Just thought I
would share.
