I have a few users who are running windows xp pro and outlook 2002 (xp) and
they end up with many instances of outlook.exe running in memory as seen in
task manager by the end of the day.
Choosing "file/close" from the file menu in outlook does not affect this.
I searched via google, and aside from one website which offers for sale a
utility which basically goes into taskmanager and kills these instances for
you, there was little to no useful info.
I searched support.microsoft with no useful info as well.
If anyone has SPECIFIC info on a fix for this i would love to hear it.
I see many posts of a similar nature here, but since i've yet to find any
concrete answer, i am posting this question as well.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help.
