Manual Log On Into Windows 2000

When I turn on my computer it automatically logs on taking
me right into my desktop with all my icons. I want to set
it up so I have to enter a password before windows starts
up. I do not know how to do this...Please help. Thankyou.

Go to Users and Groups in Control Panel. On the Advanced tab check the
"Users must use Ctrl-Alt-Del to log on".
