Manipulating an Excel Worksheet in a PPT presentation

I'd like to copy an Excel Worksheet into PPT and be able to manipulate the
numbers during the presentation.

Paste the worksheet into the PPT file. Then right-click and choose Custom
Animation. Add Effect. Choose Object Actions | Edit.

Now when you click the mouse, the spreadsheet will open in Excel. You could
also create a trigger animation if you want it to open only when you click
the spreadsheet itself, instead of when you click the mouse in general.

Paste the worksheet into the PPT file. Then right-click and choose Custom
Animation. Add Effect. Choose Object Actions | Edit.

Or if in PPT2003 and earlier, rightclick, choose Action Settings, Object
Action: Edit.
